Living With Wildlife
As habitat loss and urban development increases, so do human-wildlife encounters, some of which can lead to conflict. The Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources offers tools and guidance to help reduce potential issues.
Don’t feed wildlife, Keep pet food indoors, secure trash, seal entry points to homes and businesses, keep pets away from wildlife, install protective fencing for poultry and livestock.
These tips not only prevent conflict with creatures such as deer, raccoons, opossums, squirrels, or coyotes, but will help to detour unwanted vermin infestation.
