Obviously, the current snowfall and related temperatures have resulted in the disruption to everyone’s routine. St. Matthews service provider, Rumpke, is doing their best to provide service to our residents, while keeping employees and the public safe. This has resulted in revising their service plans as area conditions dictate.
At this time, Rumpke would like to share the following information with its customers.
Any trash that was not collected this past week will be collected next week, including any extra that may not fit in the standard totes used by many residents. However, any trash bags or container that are covered with snow, or frozen in place, will not be collected. Due to snow conditions, all disposal items should be set at street edge for collection.
Those using the Monday and Tuesday collection days, which did not receive service this week, are welcome to also place recycling at the curb next week and Rumpke will collect it. All other routes will utilize their normal recycling schedule.
