Job Posting: Human Resources Generalist

The City of St. Matthews is seeking a dedicated and organized Human Resources Generalist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in payroll software, Excel, benefits administration, onboarding processes, and understand the confidential nature of this work.
Responsibilities:
*Process payroll for approximately 100 employees using Paycor, ensuring accuracy and timely payments.
*Manage employee benefits, including open enrollment, changes, and claims administration.
*Onboarding of new hires.
*Maintain employee records including personnel files and timekeeping.
*Assist with HR-related projects, such as policy development and the employee handbook.
*Provide property and occupational tax support during peak season.
Qualifications:
*Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field preferred.
*Strong proficiency in Paycor and Microsoft Excel.
*Experience with benefits administration and onboarding processes.
*Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
*Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
