Potholes or damage to city streets
The mayor and council members of the City of St. Matthews would like to thank you for taking your time to report a pothole or visual damage to a city street. It is important for these issues to be inspected, documented and corrected as the situation dictates.

Resurfacing Streets
The City of St. Matthews Street Resurfacing program consists of:
- Streets where an extensive construction project has been performed by the city.
- Streets where the asphalt surface is breaking up and repeated repairs are necessary.
Each year the streets within the city are evaluated for resurfacing. Any street selected will be resurfaced in the fall of that year. Any street scheduled for a new surface will be milled before the surface is replaced. This action allows the reuse of materials used in resurfacing, and maintains the approximate surface elevation of the street.
